This study is concerner with aspects of the transfer of sentence form from source text (ST) to target text (TT) in a language pair that has extensive formal correspondence-Italian and English. For the purposes of this investigation, the significant parallels between Italian and English are primarily those od the resources of sentence form and the similar functions of most of their respective segmental punctuation sign.
