Resumen: Esta obra consta de cinco capítulos. En el primero se analiza la traducción jurídica dentro de la teoría general de la traducción. En el segundo se estudian los elementos del discurso jurídico: de orden léxico, de tipo didáctico, de carácter estilístico. En el tercero se repasan los principios y normas que rigen la traducción jurídica, con ejemplos de textos de carácter general y de los que se incluyen en los exámenes de intérprete jurado. El cuarto se dedica a la traducción en el ámbito de la Unión Europea, con múltiples textos bilingües jurídico-administrativos. El quinto completa un aspecto esencial para el traductor jurídico, la búsqueda documental, con un glosario de conceptos legales y otro de terminología básica. Por último una extensa bibliografía.

Resumen: "Cette année, le séminaire de l' Association suisse des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes aborde un thème plus précis que ceux des années précédentes, mais un thème d'une grande importance pour la practique de notre métier, susceptible de s' infiltrer dans presque tous les domaines de spécialité des traducteurs professionnels (...)
