Resumen: "Barbara Webb redactó la primera edición de su admirable diccionario hace treinta años. Desde entonces ha habido importantes cambios en los yates y su equipamiento. (...) He añadido unas 600 palabras al dicionario original, pero sin tocar el vocabulario de los barcos clásicos de madera. (...) Para facilitar el buscar las palabras las he agrupado en secciones preferentemente definidas por temas o situación. En concreto, las primeras secciones catalogan palabras que pueden necesitarse con urgencia o de emergencia y al llegar a puerto".

Resumen: Este trabalho trata da extração e da classificação de <Combinatórias Léxicas Especializadas> (<CLEs>) no âmbito do Projeto Combinatórias Léxicas Especializadas da Linguagem Legal, Normativa e Científica, desenvolvido pelo Grupo Termisul. Os corpora dos quais as CLEs foram extraídas são compostos por textos legislativos em seis línguas: português, alemão, espanhol, francês, inglês e italiano. Para a extração das CLEs, foram utilizadas ferramentasconstruídas pelo próprio grupo listador de palavras, gerador de n-gramas, de clusters e de concordâncias, e do programa AntConc. As CLEs repertoriadas foram classificadas em jurídicas e terminológicas. Caracterizamos cada um dos grupos por suas propriedades sintáticas, semânticas e pragmáticas e discutimos os problemas surgidos para estabelecer os limites das combinatórias. Com os resultados obtidos, espera-se poder oferecer uma base de dados on-line para tradutores e redatores especializados.

Resumen: "Cette année, le séminaire de l' Association suisse des traducteurs, terminologues et interprètes aborde un thème plus précis que ceux des années précédentes, mais un thème d'une grande importance pour la practique de notre métier, susceptible de s' infiltrer dans presque tous les domaines de spécialité des traducteurs professionnels (...) Resumen: With over 200 contributions by authors from some 50 countries in the form of lectures, panel discussions, poster presentations and seminars, the content of the XXth FIT World Congress reflects the full range of development of the globalized language profession. It covers a wide area, from high-tech topics related to day-to-day work such as post-editing of machine translations or working in the cloud, through quality assurance standards to various aspects of the qualities required for the job. Presentations on aspects of daily work, didactic models and case studies illustrate the global professional reality of translators, interpreters and terminologists in the second decade of the 21st century and suggest approaches to the problems of tomorrow. What will the work of translators, interpreters and terminologists look like in future? What challenges will they have to face? How will national markets and the international market for these services change? These volumes, which contain most of the presentations from the XXth FIT World Congress, document a host of interesting responses and provide material for a range of further discussions.
