Tema(s): En: Quaderns de Gènere, Sexe i LlenguatgeResumen: "The aim of the study reported here is to explore the possibility of applying the tools of corpus analysis to the study of the interaction between translation and gender. The computer-aided analysis of large amounts of text in electronic form, nowadays known as corpus analysis, has offered valuable insights in translation studies. It has also been used on some occasions in language and gender studies but, I believe, its potential has not been fully exploited in this area. In the field of translation and gender, to the besto of my knowledge, no studies have been undertaken using this approach. This is a first attempt and therefore has limited scope, but I expect to show that corpus-based research can offer some useful insights in this area as well."
