Resumen: This edition of "The Interpreter's Edge is intented for use by students, instructors, and persons engaged in self study. Instructors and self-study students will also need the Instructor's/Self-Study Notes, which are bound in a separate volume and include extensive comments and suggested translations for each text in this book. Students enrolled in a structured court interpreting course do not need, and probably should not have access to, the Instructor's/Self-Study Notes. Instead, they should rely on the guidance of an experienced instructor. Students who have only the present volume, and are not enrolled in a course, can purchase the Instructor's/Self ́Study notes separately from ACEBO. The three chapters of "The Interpreter's Edge cover the three modes of interpreting that court interpreters are required to master: "Simultaneous Interpreting, "Consecutive Interpreting", "Sight Translation".
