The two books of exercises which accompany A Practical English Grammar help the student to practise his handling of English syntax. They can be used while he is working with the Grammar or independently for revision and extended study. There is a key to the exercises at the end of each book. The topics covered in Exercises 2 are: verb + preposition-adverb combinations, articles, prepositions, elative pronouns, present, past and perfect tenses, future forms and reported speech, conditionals and unreal pasts, gerund, infinitive and passive.
