Numerous groups of scientists in reference cultural and socieconomical contexts are constantly producing scientific knowledge which also becomes a model for other contexts. They normally articulate that knowledge in their own language, which nowadays tends to be mainly english. However, other communities of scientists from non reference contexts import that knowledge and, furthermore, the linguistic structures used to express it.The resultant linguistic phenomenon is called terminological dependency.
