En Sociology of translation
It has long been recognised that language are not merely neutral, structural ensembles wich allow communication between human groups sharing the same language, and, as such, it is fair to further conclude that traslation, as a phenomenon rather than a technique, does not merely invovle a search for lexical and syntactic equivalences between one linguistic structure and another, i.e languages, but is rather more complex process set withim a wider pragmaticframework of intercultural, as opposed to purely interlinguistic, exchange.
