Resumen: This presentation will deal with the history of medical terminology from its beginnings to modern times, the developments and changes of medical terms, clasification system and thesauri, and the principles of German and English medical terminology. The structure and etymology, as well as the Latinization, Anglicization, and Germanization of medical terms will be discussed.
