The secretary's handbook : a manual of correct usage

The eight edition of this book, has been reset with revisions in almost every chapter. In Part I chapters on capitalization, punctuation, hyphenation and compounds, figures, and abbreviations have been enlarged with additional rules and examples. In Part II in the chapter on correct usage in letter parts, more examples have been added to illustrate forms of address for American officials, british nobility, and ecclesastical dignitaries. The chaptes on invitations, telegrams and cablegrams, minutes, constitutions, bylaws, standing rules, and sources of information have been revised to conform with modern practice. In the appendix a list of foregn countries and their capitals has been substituted for syllabication o foreign words.
