A guide to book review citations : a bibliography of sources

The often laborious search for book review references can be graeatly facilitated by the use of this extensive bibliography, which has been compiled to meet the current need on the part of scholars for more extensive review references to books published in foreing languages, to books publiched during or before the nineteenth century, and to books in hughly specialize fields of scholarship... A brief description of the source accompanies each entry, setting forth its scope, the principle of organization employed, and the precise manner in which reviews are cited. Entries are arranged alphabetically by subject categories, as listed in the Scheme of Classification, but may also be located by referring to one of several indexes prepared for the convenience of the reader, these including indexes to subjects, personal names, ans titles, a chronology index, and an exclusive country-of- origin index.
